The NASEO Hydrogen State Working Group serves as a platform for State and Territory Energy Offices to come together to share best practices, discuss topics of interest, and inform the types of resources and support NASEO will provide to states on hydrogen. The Working Group aims to facilitate stronger relationships between State Energy Offices and key partners from the federal government, industry, local governments, and NGOs with the ultimate goal of advancing hydrogen projects across the country. This month, the Working Group meeting will focus on financing pathways for hydrogen. Connor Dolan with the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association will provide an overview of the changes to the 45V tax incentive and implications for hydrogen project economics, and Heather Braithwaite with Stearns Bank will offer insights on the role of capital providers, project finance considerations for hydrogen, and opportunities for public-private partnerships. Please reach out to Kelsey Jones (kjones@naseo.org) or Grace Lowe (glowe@naseo.org) with any questions or to be added to the calendar invite.
